Now Booking Christmas Mini Sessions

Even though it’s barely Halloween, I’m super excited to get into the spirit of the holidays! Here’s what you need to know:

Cost Per Session: $75

Each Session Includes:

  • 20 minutes of coverage
  • 10 or more digital images

For an additional $25, I will edit and return your photos within 24 hours — just let me know at booking if you want that add-on!

Location: The Rotary Grove Memorial inside Devou Park

Dates: November 17 & 18, and December 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
(Rain date: December 2)

Booking Info:

  • A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The remaining $50 will be due the day of your session.
  • These sessions will be short and sweet. They’re ideal for one family. If you’d like to do extended family pictures, or if you have more than 3 or 4 kids, I might suggest you sign up for two sessions back-to-back so that you don’t feel rushed.

  • What if something comes up, and we can no longer attend our scheduled booking?
    We can attempt to move your session to one of the other dates if a spot is available. However, I will not be able to reschedule your session on a date other than what is offered above. So make sure you are available for the time you sign up for. I can’t make any guarantees, but if you cancel at least 3 days in advance, I will try to find another family to take your spot, and if I can, I’ll return your deposit.
  • What do we do if it rains or someone in our family gets sick?
    If it rains, or someone in your family is ill the day of your session, we will attempt to reschedule on Sunday, December 2. I have reserved that date as a backup so please pencil in that date on your calendar as well just in case!
  • What happens if we can’t reschedule on December 2?
    If we get rained out, I will return your deposit, but sadly, I won’t be available to take any family pictures for you as the rest of my 2018 schedule is booked. If you were unable to attend your session at the last minute due to illness, I will keep your deposit for now, and you may apply it towards a spring session in 2019.
  • Do we have to use the Christmas props?
    I will have Christmas props available for your session, but you do not have to use them if you don’t want to. In other words, if you don’t celebrate Christmas, or don’t want any props in your photos, we can just use the park as our backdrop. Just let me know when you arrive.
  • Can we bring pets?
    Pets are welcome to join in the fun! However, keep in mind that the longer it takes to corral your pet, the less time we have to shoot. So come prepared!
  • Can we get more than 10 images?
    I will pull out the best images from your session to edit. I’m confident I can get a minimum of 10 good images during your session. But it could be more! There is no maximum number of photos you can receive — it just depends on how well everyone in your group cooperates! Your images will be a variety of posed and candid images.
  • When will our photos be ready?
    Your images will be ready within 2 weeks of your session. However, if you need or want them sooner, you can pay an additional $25 for a 24-hour turnaround. Just let me know at booking!
  • What should we wear?
    My decor is a bit on the rustic/cozy side, so I would suggest casual, comfortable, fall/winter attire — festive sweaters, jeans, boots, scarves, etc. Of course, you’re welcome to dress up if that’s your thing! Just remember we’ll be in a park in the grass so heels will be hard to walk in.
